Negotiation Lab

For faculty

Do students need accounts?
No. Each student gets a personal link per assignment. The link is their identity, so it should be sent only to that student.
How is a score verified?
When a student submits, our server replays the entire negotiation with the simulation's own rules engine and accepts the score only if the replay matches. A score edited in the browser fails verification.
How are students scored?
Value capture 50%, structure 30%, process 20%, for a total out of 100.
Can a student submit twice?
The first verified submission is final. You can grant a retake by issuing that student a new link.
What about deadlines?
Links stop working seven days after an assignment's due date. You can extend a deadline for one student or the whole class.
How do I get links to students?
Download them as a CSV or copy them as a block, then send each student their own link by mail merge or your LMS's per-student messaging.
Will I be emailed when students submit?
Your choice per assignment: an email for each submission, a daily digest, both, or none.
What do you store about students?
The name (and, if you provide it, email) from your roster, the submitted negotiation and its scores. Links are stored only as one-way fingerprints. See privacy.
Can I see the simulation first?
Yes: play the public demo, or once your course is set up, use "Preview" on any assignment.
